I was watching Rockwiz the other night and, during an ad break, was delighted to see good old Sergeant Frank Gilroy (Brian Wenzel) from A Country Practice , in his police uniform and looking fantastic ... - until I realised that it was an AMI advertisement for premature ejaculation. Poor old Sergeant Gilroy has been reduced to clocking a young man for 'going too quick' in bed.Rather sad - but he does look amazing for his 80 years so not a complete loss!
He always had a lovely voice. And I quite liked how he'd always go for the OJ rather than a beer.
