The Melbourne International Film Festival opens tonight with the screening of the Robert Connolly film Balibo starring Anthony LaPaglia and Oscar Isaac.The news today is reporting fears that the film might stir controversy as it tells the story of six Australian journalists killed during Indonesia's 1975 invasion of East Timor. The Indonesian and Australian governments view is that the journalists were killed in cross-fire but the film portrays the journo's as having been murdered.
